On 8th December 2022, CHAD and the Faculty of Public Health hosted the second in the 2022-23 webinar series.
Barry Knight, a social scientist with extensive knowledge and expertise in methods to combat poverty presented ‘Rethinking poverty: responding to the crisis and planning for the future’. Approximately 100 delegates were treated to an historical introduction of how we have arrived at the current situation. This was followed by an extensive discussion/Q&A during which Barry responded to a range of reflections on the analysis presented, how organisations are responding, and what the future holds.
