On 28th October 2021, the Centre for Health and Development (CHAD) and Faculty of Public Health (FPH) hosted the first in a series of webinars relating to COVID-19, health impacts and inequalities: COVID-19: What went right, what went wrong and how do we learn from this?
This session was attended by approximately 70 delegates. Professor Maggie Rae, President of the FPH expertly chaired a great session, which kicked off with a wide-ranging and comprehensive National Overview by Professor John Middleton, ASPHER President and immediate past President, FPH. Liz Gaulton, Director of Public Health for Coventry, then gave a local perspective, before Dr Ramprasad Matsa, Consultant in Acute Medicine and Critical Care, University Hospitals of North Midlands shared his insights from his experience in intensive care during COVID-19.
