The Centre for Health and Development (CHAD) at Staffordshire University are delighted to be hosting an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Conference, in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner Staffordshire.
The conference will take place on Wednesday, 20 November 2019 from 13:30 to 19:00 in LT003, Ashley Building, Leek Road Campus, Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2DF (number 15 on the map available below):
This conference will share local work on this important topic and discuss future directions.
We will begin with presentations from key people/organisations about their work in the area of ACEs and/or trauma informed practice. This will include initial findings of the CHAD evaluation of a local ‘Asking about ACEs’ pilot. There will also be discussion about future directions for Stoke-on-Trent.
Light refreshments (including a buffet) will be provided.
We hope to close the conference with something more creative, so watch this space!
